It's time for a blast from the past; velvet is coming back in style, and it is starting to appear EVERYWHERE! This trend is super easy to rock because velvet is starting to show up in everything: booties, shirts, jackets, and even dresses. Velvet clothes come in so many different colors and styles there is definitely a way for everyone to rock this trend. I decided to go with an off-the-shoulder dress. Just keep these few tips in mind - don't pair denim with denim - try to wear it with w light fabric such as chiffon - try this edgy 90's look with a sleek hairstyle - if you just want to dip your toe into this trend try just layering a velvet tee shirt into an outfit - if you really want the 90's vibe, add a choker dress- Forever 21

I would like to give a quick shoutout to my great grandma for that because, every year on Valentine's Day, my mom makes sugar cookies with cinnamon frosting. If you haven't tried one of my mom's cookies then I feel sorry for you because you have no clue what you're missing out on. Hands down, this is my favorite part about February, and I can't wait to make cookies for my own kids:) And be sure to check out Hello Honey for a cute Valentine's Day outfit if you don't have one already!
Now, I know white is typically a spring and summer color, but who says you can't wear it in winter? Year after year, white is always something you see on the runways. Skipping your typical all black winter outfit will give your wardrobe a breath of fresh air. It's always good to change it up once in a while. The great thing about white is that it goes with everything, but my favorite thing to wear it with is denim. When I saw this shirt, I think it was love at first sight. I have been obsessed with the cut shoulder shirts lately, and I thought the ruffled ends added a nice touch. As usual, I finished the look with some booties, added a little bit of jewelry, and it's as easy as that!
