The Countdown is On!

     I can't believe that this last weekend was my senior prom. I know senior year was going to go by quickly, but it seriously feels like I was going to football games just last month. Just like the rest of the school year though, prom did not disappoint. I got to go with all of my best friends, and there is hands-down nobody else I would have rather spend the night with. 
     Our prom adventure started a couple of weeks ago with a trip to Bearizona. After a VERY long car ride to northern Arizona, we got to go see lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Haha okay we didn't get to see lions and tigers, but we saw a black jaguar and that's close enough right? I don't think there are any other people I could have handled being in a car with all day haha

  Prom day was even better than the day date. We went up to Scottsdale for dinner, then headed to Salt River Fields for the dance where we all partied ALL NIGHT LONG! Just because the dance had to end didn't mean the party had to. We got changed into something a little more comfortable (and easier to move around in) and headed out to party some more.

     On Sunday, I pretty much slept all day long. I didn't wake up until 12:30 but after I had eaten breakfast, I got in bed to watch The Office and fell asleep again for a few more hours. Good thing I had a day to catch up on sleep though because Monday was SENIOR DITCH DAY!
     Now, if you ask me, I would tell you that senior ditch day should be every Monday, but the school probably wouldn't like that very much. All of our friends spent the day at Porter's house for a pool party. This weekend was the first time in months that all of our friends have hung out together, and it was a blast. And now that Prom is over, the next thing to look forward to is Graduation. Let the countdown begin!
